Prayer For Creation 2019

English: Together we pray:

All-powerful God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, You are present in the whole universe and in the smallest of your creatures. You embrace with your tenderness all that exists.

Pour out upon us the power of your love, that we may protect life and beauty. Fill us with peace that we may live as brothers and sisters, hearing no one.

O God of the poor, help us to rescue the abandoned and forgetting of this earth, so precious in your eyes. Bring healing to our lives, that we may protect the world and not prey on it, that we may see beauty, not pollution and destruction.

Touch the hearts of those who look only for gain at all expense of the poor and the earth. Teach us to discover the worth each thing, to be filled with awe and contemplative, to recognize that we are profoundly united with every creature as we journey towards your infinite light.

We thank you for being with us each day. Encourage us, we pray, in our struggle for love, justice and peace. We ask this through Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit; One God forever and ever. Amen.

Rosary Altar Society

This group of parishioners takes care of cleaning the Church, laundering the linens, taking inventory of church supplies and replacing them when necessary, laying out vestments and anything else needed for celebration of the Mass including cruets, chalices, linens, oils, processional crosses, candles and torches and insuring that everything is kept in good condition.

Bible Study

This ministry was formed to assemble a group who want to study the Bible with a focus toward Catholic commentary.  The Scripture Series occurs in the Fall and Spring of each year with focus on a particular book of the Bible.
